I started playing guitar for two reasons - the 1-2 punch of In the Light
(their best song) and Bron-Yr-Aur on side 3 of Physical Graffiti. I
still get goose bumps when when the tone changes from the bluesy shuffle
to the rousing anthem coda of In the Light.

who the fuck let this guy in?

did henley freak out over this cover?

i don't know what point i'm countering at this….umm..point, but my…uhh….point is - when this song comes on, i'm pumping my fist like i'm listening to the stooges:

This comment isn't really a defense of the movie, or even a response to all the valid criticisms, but I just wanted to say it will always have a special place for me because it was the last movie I saw with my mom before she got very ill and passed away.

and presumably all the lakes are frozen.

yes! also, when lester broke out of the hosipatal and got in the snow covered car in the parking lot - i was waiting for him to get out and frantically scrape the windshield like jerry lundegard.

"don't turn the damn dial on the TV so fast!" (yeah, i'm that old)

nods in agreement. i never order a steak when dining out, it's just as good when made at home (just get that grill/cast iron pan blistering hot). and i never go to a steakhouse anymore either - the experiences there (for me, martini, baked potato, cabernet etc) are all better at home with much much much better value.

this is an interesting stance since the conventional wisdom is that philly fans are the absolute worst in all of sports.

awww…you're too young to be singing the blooohoohoohs…..
