Ha… LOST answered everything in a neat little mythological bow? Did you even WATCH the show? They didn't say fuck all about why children were so important- why Aaron, Walt and all the others got so much attention. Never mentioned again. Not once.

I don't know if I've ever laughed harder than when I sat down with a bunch of friends and watched Wicker Man all the way through. There's so many things that aren't even in the YouTube videos. Gotta agree with ZMF, Cage's presence only made it better, and that's true of every flick he's in.

Pete Townshend really touched me when I was a kid…
…with his music, that is.

Yeah, the only way it'll be good is if they have to fight the Hulk.

The way this film blurs the line between fiction and nonfiction is truly amazing. What is real? What isn't? And in the end, does it matter? The thing I take away from this film is that the family was truly happy when they thought that Sabzian was Makhmalbouf. Indeed, they probably could have made a film themselves

Nice. They did this last year and I picked up a ton of movies, including the Cassavettes and Ozu box sets. Its truly like Christmas day for art-film lovers.

Kiarostami puts Offside to shame. Although Offside's not bad, its more political than human IMO.

Interestingly and somewhat controversially, I'm blaming Jesse Jackson.

I think they got Nick confused with his dad.

How many times will we here the following phrases this season:

^ I thought that was actually a rare good episode for Entourage in the later seasons. But like you said, all the potential was just undone the next week.

Its worth mentioning though that I believe the 360 version has voice acting. Also, its cheaper. The downside is obviously that you can't take it on the go, and this game was basically made to be played on the go. But still, I wonder if that makes the plot any better.

But what I don't get about people averse to cringe-comedy is that these shows ultimately champion the "little guy." I think many of us can connect to what Handlen was talking about, but the awkward characters on these shows aren't simply there to be ridiculed and put down. Yeah, Brent's an asshole, but not as big of

Look, I wasn't around for the Grindhouse era and I don't claim to be. Tarantino certainly knows more about it than I do. But next to PLANET TERROR and the trailers, DEATH PROOF simply isn't any fun. It's a cool flick, but it completely changes the tone of the Grindhouse experience. I remember going to the theatre with

My problem with Asian incest porn is that sometimes I feel like they're not really brother and sister… really kills it for me.

So if a really, really good film was released on August 31st, it could win 2 Oscars?

Varda won't win. But she should. Her film is amazing.

A great example of that is when the actors are putting on a play, and everybody stops to watch the religious procession. And its so much more theatrical than everything else. As if Bergman is saying HERE is the real show. Watching the film I feel like Bergman believes that Death is an inescapable constant for us all.

I mean, in Handlen's defense, its more of a first impressions kind of thing than deep analysis. You could go on for pages about the film, and many have. But in all I've read its rare that people point out that scene, and for me its the best in the film.

It IS similar to Fallout 3, but its also not really set on Earth, or in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Plus the guns make for varied gameplay so it feels somewhat different. IDK, it definitely stands on its own, and I doubt the devs were trying to rip off Fallout. Its not amazing, it could have been better, but D+ is a
