Hated _Death of a Salesman_. The long-winded pompous speeches about this one little guy. Being a salesman = being worthless. (Goodbye, Wallace Stevens!) The patronizing view of suburbia. The empty dialogue. A good drama could be made about a small man in a deadening profession, which makes this failure all the worse.
