BTW, "Adventures in Odyssey" is still on the air.

1st Edition, man.  FIRST EDITION.

I watched "The Monkees" when I was around 11 - 13 too.  On Channel 32 out of Chicago.  I thought they were funny and they had some good tunes.  Davy will be missed.

And that's why Kubrick's adaptation is not so good.  In his movie, Lo is old enough to give consent.  So HH looks less like a predator.

Right off the bat, let me say that I've never read the novel.  But I know that in the novel, Lolita is 12.  So the problem I have with Kubrick's version is that Lolita looks like she could be doing a Maxim shoot.

I really do not understand the Ann/Tom thing.  Tom is unbelievably annoying and there's no reason for Ann to like him.  She never gives a single reason for it.

I have lived in Indiana all my life and I don't think there's anyplace here with a lake in the hills.

And Waxwork.

Lobsters, do you mean Deborah Foreman?  She was in quite a few low budget flicks in the '80s.  And she was pretty cute.

Kaylee Frye and Audrey Horne are good choices.

Is it too late to mention Patton Oswalt's "Kill George Lucas With A Shovel" bit?

I don't think Sheldon would ever be involved in a threesome.  Or a twosome.  Or even a onesome.

You know there's something going on under those baggy clothes.

Julia Sawalha.

The Albert Finney musical version is about to start on TCM.  FYI.

"Thank you very much!  Thank you very much!  It's the nicest thing anyone's ever done for me!"  Sung as thanks for Ebenezer dying.

I try to read the novella every year.  I like the Alastair Sim version.  And the George C. Scott version is good.  I think I prefer the Patrick Stewart one, though.

Thanks for posting the "Kitten Is Angry" video.  I liked it.

I was 11 at the time and I was a rabid Star Wars devotee.  Of course I watched it!

Will "Christmas in the comics" include the B.C. strips where Wiley pens a poem about Jesus?
