Mightn't that be "This Island Earth", JC?

I fear that series will never be finished. Just an awesome work of world-building.
A radio station in Chicago used to have an hour or so late at night called "Headphones Only". When I first heard "One of Our Submarines", I thought it was simply beautiful and haunting.
I was 9 years old when "Star Wars" first came out. I think we were one of the last people on Earth to see it that summer, though. All my friends had seen it at least once. Mom and Dad kept saying we'd go, but it kept getting put off. Then, when I finally, finally saw it … wow. Instant fan.
There was a TV (or cable?) movie about a decade or so ago with Rick Schroeder. It was about an American battalion that advanced too far and got stuck behind enemy lines. It's hazy in my memory, but I remember liking it.
Good one, Dr Locrian! I'll give you 1000 bonus xp for that.
My parents always drank Falstaff when I was a kid. They don't make it any more.
Why would you read a choose-your-own-adventure book during a D&D session?
Hmm … You make good points. He might not be winning Oscars, but he's getting paid.

Didn't this guy, at one time, seem like he might have a career? I mean, "The Mummy" was some good fun, right?
Thank you for that, Mr. Hubbard. Subdivisions FTW!
@JJ … Isn't that the X-Files ep where Mulder tells Scully, "Woman! Get back in the kitchen and make me a sandwich!" And then she throws a towel at him, I think.
watched it for a time in the mid '80s
I watched "General Hospital" for awhile back in 1984 - 85. Partly because they had some crazy story lines about an international counterintelligence agency that sometimes had to stop bad guys from using weather-control machines. And partly becauase I really, really dug Emma…
I do not buy her albums, but she is very easy on the eyes.
What would Robbie Wheeling try to jump off of in "Mazes and Monsters"?
I'm not religious, but I am spiritual, y'know?
@Bender Bukowski: I don't think an aversion to smoking and drinking would be enough to not want to spend some time with her.
I'm going to make a little movie in my head with those two.
Sir Osis, nice name! Cheers!
Well, hell.
