This episode was on just the other week. I missed the brief Madchen Amick appearance, dammit.

What's a Nubian?

Didn't they do that on a Veggie Tales?

That, but the exact opposite.

I confess I did not know there was actually a character called Squirrel Girl. But apparently she's won her fair share of fights.

Dear Elegant Victorian Lady,

Violet, I know that comic and that character you are talking about! Her name was Scarlet something? Maybe? But, yeah, her boobs were very plastic-shiny. And very comically huge.

"Night Witches" was pretty awesome, especially the end.

In his review, Assdouche says, "The toys wage battle with the daycare center's cynical veteran cast-offs: Hamm the Piggy Bank pig, Lotsa Hugs and Big Baby." Hamm is part of the daycare center's veterans? Did he pay attention to the movie, or just write something negative because he could?

Coldstream FTW. I am sure Rowling thought up her story on her own, but a protagonist who is a little dark-haired boy, with big round glasses, who is destined to be a great wizard … yeah, that sounded familiar.

I never really watched "Millennium". There are a couple episodes I remember. One was a bunch of demons sitting around drinking coffee telling stories, and they all somehow involved Frank Black. The other episode I remember was about a kid who thought a guy was a demon and was trying to kill him, but everybody

I think the season two finale "Anasazi" and it's season three opening partner "The Blessing Way" are good mythology episodes.

Hmm … through an unfortunate issue in timing, my favorite exchange was posted a few minutes earlier by Mr. The Information.

Hard to pick just one, but this is my favorite exchange:

And also put Zatanna in there somewhere. Because, you know …

'30s pulp
I think good movies could be made about The Phantom, The Shadow, The Spider (Master of Men!), Doc Savage, etc. I don't know why they don't try to make those movies instead of pointless remakes of '80s movies. But then I'm not a Hollywood writer so I am sure there are dark, mystic forces at work that I

Ooh! That would be pretty cool! And then they could have a Dr. Fate movie, and a (good) John Constantine movie, and maybe a movie about The Specter, and then they could bring them all together for a team-up movie!

Guise Will Be Guise
This was a fun episode. I liked Wesley trying to be Angel. And I liked Brigid Brannagh's unbelievable rack.

I think in the most recent Hex comics, there are no supernatural elements. It's just a gritty Western. But still without the gatling guns on his horse.

I won't say I had high hopes for this movie, but I did think maybe it might be a fairly entertaining way to pass some time. This sounds like they had no idea what they wanted the story to be, or how to handle the character.
