Yup I thought Shao would bite it before the episode was over, then when they got through the battle I thought maybe he died some time before the final concert but after the events of the show

Yea this ending was sadder than I thought it would be, and they didn't even kill Shao, which I was convinced would happen. But I appreciate it, I like a nice bittersweet ending.
