Quarter way through the episode I figured that Felix must be an agent of Ford who had orchestrated everything and Felix was playing a certain role to ensure Ford's plan went how it was supposed to. I was like "hell yes, that actually makes everything work"

Reminds me of what I've always said about the "big twist" of Mr. Robot's first season. That it wasn't meant to be as huge a twist as people give it shit for, but mainly meant to distract from another twist and provide some deep insight into the characters once it's revealed.
