I still find it really disturbing how Bernard tells her to "disable emotional affect" but not to suspend the emotions themselves. It's simply a matter of comfort for him while she still feels the emotions as powerfully as before, but now she can't even show them.

"The Man in Black finds Teddy strung up by Wyatt’s gang."

Thanks dad!

People have been complaining about the use of profanity on this show since the first episode. It's never bothered me, but I do find myself equal parts amuesd and annoyed that literally every line out of Ford's mouth is something "profound" and or poetic. The guy is like a walking Eckhard Tolle book

Thanks!

It was there. Well the face part. I'd thought it was a scar before but I rewatched the scene from the pilot as soon as she showed up

She was technically introduced in the pilot

After that talk with Ford I would have handed in my resignation the next day

I think it's just a cautionary measure put in by the staff. Just like when (I think it was) Bernard said that they give the hosts the concept of nightmares in case they happen to wake up during maintenance. And presumably why his talks with Dolores are always framed as dreams.

Best episode since the premiere. Also:

I don't think there's any way Ford doesn't know. So yea I'd buy this

The one with Ben Foster and Jewel Staite right?

Odd post. All of this has been established

My my favourite moment of his is when Earn got caught up talking to his other friend and Al circles back around with the "Ahh I know nigga ahh…LET'S GO!!"

I feel like Justin Bieber should have tipped you off to that

He has access to a higher level of truth

He has this relentless curiosity about life that most of us have mostly lost by age 10 or some shit

At least he didn't have to tell anyone to hold it horizontal

Bouncers are legit fun to talk to, they have the best stories

I've seen weirder shit in clubs
