It's not about being "wise," it's about enjoyment. TV shows aren't good or bad based on just one aspect, it all comes together to create the whole. So the plot, dialogue, script, visuals, characters, sound design, relatability, choreography etc etc all informs your enjoyment of the show. A show might score lower for

This. Besides, Angel and Cordelia 4ever!!!111one

Lol yea, that was in regard to the standard logistics of the park, not whatever curveballs the show will inevitably throw

I feel irrationally proud when I see things like this from him. Like he's an old high school friend or something

Watched both and it was pretty cool to have two well-made black centric shows with such stylistic and tonal differences but which still had a lot of not immediately obvious similarities come out in such close proximity.

I was all on board with the binge model at first, but I'm starting to think weekly is better. Or maybe even one-a-day. I'mrealizing that I just get so much more enjoyment out of the shows I watch weekly. But I guess a part of that is my own lack of self-control preventing me fromt aking my time with the Netflix stuff.

Good point

Purely anecdotal but The Get Down had a pretty decent buzz from my experience, especially among certain groups, but I do agree that Stranger Things was more universally "buzzed"

Worth every penny imo

Or maybe its black-centric-ness allows it to resonate with certain people in ways that make up for some of its other shortcomings. Either way it's still genuine enjoyment

Exactly. His skin is bulletproof and the Judas was no longer in play, it's not like he had any other weakpoints to worry about defending

"And then they gave us Fish Mooney with a bible tic and balls."

I doubt they knew they'd be using him. I feel like James was being set up to be an ally in later seasons, but they got Ghost Rider and decided to let him go the black hat route.

I still remember back in early first season when Fitz had a big old crush on her

"You do know she's an android right?"

In other news: The sky is falling

Westworld is purgatory!

Pretty sure that would be part of the waiver. "No specific experience is guaranteed"

"I'm a guest!"

Depends on if you veiw "inherently motivated by self-interest" as the same thing as being "inherently bad"
