Nick in Power Armor is pretty sweet to see.

using the word fucktarded is offensive

you know, he had Princess Leia on a chain. It's on the tip of my massive tongue.

no, the one in that sci-fi movie.

That fat comedian. The one who died. You know the one.

using the word problematic that way is a microaggression.

Minor Fallout 4 BOS spoilers

Between all your replies to various people, at this point you've written literally thousands of words arguing that you understand a movie you haven't seen better than people who have seen it. And I would say "come back when you've actually seen the film," but frankly I wouldn't trust you to view it with an open mind

It is simply silly for you to be this negative about a film you haven't seen.

I think that's one valid interpretation of what it is saying, but that's backing off quite a bit from "the devil is real."

when the goooods send you a blessing
you don't ASK why it was sent!

Within the framework of the story sure, but you responded to @avclub-ec0ee15712abab09eaacb2e7afafebc9:disqus not understanding that he was talking about theme, not plot. So I responded to you to clear that up.

No. The movie presents itself as a folk tale. It is using narrative to explore a set of beliefs. Theme is different from plot. Plot is the story a movie tells, but themes are what the movie is trying to say. The theme is NOT "the devil is real." Have you seen it?

No it's not. Have you seen the movie?

That's me BTW. Disqus is screwing with me. I blame Black Phillip.

No, @avclub-ec0ee15712abab09eaacb2e7afafebc9:disqus is right when he says " It's a portrait of the fears of the time." Have you seen The Witch yet?

Not 1823, but I've always thought this would make a good movie

You will like it then.

I agree.

between you and me, I wish you had reviewed this film for AVC. Am I allowed to say that or is that rude?
