Phantom bit the weenie but Rossum was the one good thing about the movie. Must've been a fluke, her not sucking in a Joel Schumacher movie.

Dare
So, I was in Dare over the summer, as an unpaid extra with a friend of mine. The other extras were all really wealthy kids from Pennsylvania who all went to the same high school. It was an overnight shoot, and Emmy Russom, a beautiful, really nice person, would sing between takes, and talked to me about the…
Oops. Wrong sundance window. My fault, and I apologize.

I'll call it vintage!
I guess this means my "First!" shirt is irrelevant.
Wow, that's awkward for Darren Aronofsky
Seems like he shouldn't be in the photograph.
RJDJ
RjDj is great trippy fun. White Noise is a big, but surprisingly useful app that helps me sleep, especially on a long bus or ride. And Mazefinger and Cuberunner are two of my favorite free games.
Mickey One
I just saw that film a few months ago while taking a class on Arthur Penn, and that's a movie that really deserves to be rediscovered. Watching it, it begged out for a cult following. It doesn't have one, but it really needs to be part of the new cult canon.
90 dollars for the wire is a pretty amazing price. I almost bought it last week for 140 on amazon, but now that its ninety… just, wow. Its 250 retail. That's a deal, and i hope they keep that deal for a while.
yeah, that was when suzie became a more prominent character.
No Silent Night Deadly Night? To each their own.
Rugrats
I know, not exactly a classic, but the Rugrats had an amazing holiday special, mainly for its multi-religion families. Tommy's family is Jewish, Phil and Lil gentiles. and my favorite, Chucky's family didn't have a religion. Not really atheist or agnostic, just nothing. It felt closer to my experience growing…
Brave Lil' Toaster
I love that movie, and it sort of feels in the same vein as Wall*e. They both have a genuine affection for stuff, but not consumerism. More of a nostalgic type of "stuff," like that ratty old blanket, or Woody from Toy Story. All seem to value the old and familiar rather than the new, flying in the…
I'm gonna take a stab at a spoilers.
I haven't seen this film, but from this review and the trailer, I'm gonna guess its about…(MAYBE SPOILER ALERT) either Aliens or organ donation. I'm sticking with aliens. Yeah, seven pound aliens.
To me, The Hottie and the Nottie never stood a chance, but I get your point.
How were these chosen?
Were these all generally agreed upon as awful films, or was there any minor descent in the AV Club ranks? Were they given awfulness numbers?
radio show?
that's tyra's old boyfriend.
Next Season?
I know I shouldn't jinx it since it may not even make it that far, but the writers are clearly thinking about next season, considering the introduction of The McCoys. Outside JD though, who else will remain next season? Tyra, Matt, Riggins Lila and Landry are all seniors, and Julie probably should be,…
I love the Hitchcock comparison
This seems like a movie Hitchcock would love not only for its brilliant construction, but as a response to the Hitchcock protagonist. This could easily be revenge for the way Stewart gazed at Miss Torso in Rear Window, or as you mentioned his obsessive objectification in Vertigo's…
anyone know this?
i have pop pop in the attic.
