What if you remember it being a rancid, unfunny pile of shit when you were in high school?

Gordon Ramsay may be a dick, but he knows his shit. It's really fucking hard to be a chef in a shitty restaurant, nevermind one that has Michelin stars. 16 year-olds start as cooks, not chefs.
@avclub-011d0b4fe6835bb3d37ef4e0ea713de6:disqus Yeah, this little pleasant childhood memory just became awful and depressing. That was terrible. I don't want to live in this world anymore.
@avclub-e57f718840a576abbb40a7d046c4e3b0:disqus Sauerkraut, chili, mustard, relish, onions, sriacha, pickles, banana peppers, kimchi, cheese.
@avclub-011d0b4fe6835bb3d37ef4e0ea713de6:disqus Well, I certain don't want to waste any of my energy defending assholes…but I guess I would just want to point out that the driving force behind these assholes is offending people. As much as I might disagree with white liberal guilt as a response to this, I acknowledge…
@avclub-cd3d804747cf4c11f495534083caf222:disqus It was the least I could before making a glib comment at your expense.
@avclub-e3f5ab7f02122f95b801e13e2c586d6a:disqus What kind of people are the kind of people who make statements about the kinds of people who are offended by "racist" humor? These generalizations are getting complicated. I don't think there is anybody who can be a spokeperson for an entire group as there's obviously a…
We might be making memes out of white people's reactions to the news if they didn't respond with six paragraph essays that cited graduate courses in Cultural Competency.
90% of things decried as racist on this website only offend white people.
@abp_brendan:disqus I'll call it bullshit. It's straight-up narcissism. This guy did something pretty awesome and what happened to the women involved is horrific. I think people are enjoying this because there's a really pleasant contrast between a good-natured and funny guy who did something heroic and sick fuck who…
@avclub-9024f9f0a80d2d248c7c6efb2e715c37:disqus I'm pretty certain that the DM involved was well aware of that fact. What a son of a bitch.
If the cheese of 2nd edition or earlier D&D doesn't repel you, the show will hold up as well as any other cartoon of that era. My 5 year-old picked the DVD out of a discount bin in Target and loves the hell out of it.
You needed at least a Dungeons Master's guide and Player's Handbook before 3rd edition…nobody can remember all those weird saving throws or the arcane THAC0 formulas.
The only drinking game I've ever played involved this show. We drank every time something happened in the show which violated 2nd Edition rules. A sadistic straight edge Dungeon Master supervised. I got pretty sick from what I can remember.
It always seemed to me to be a result of his ego and self-doubt…I think he's most comfortable in the role of the "smart" cop, and at the same time is pretty insecure about how people see him in general. Being a "teacher" with women was a safe and comfortable way for him to relate to them and have some sense of being…

There was a lot more back-and-forth musically between the cultures than…
Because hippies.
This is a pretty significant departure from their normal sound. They played a punkhouse basement in my neighborhood a few years ago and fit nicely at the time.
I don't know what to make of that analogy. All three parts are thoroughly unappealing.
@avclub-29501df08e5d9ae59e432e4f188d3735:disqus I stand by Karate Kid being the worse game either way, it was just ugly and not fun and difficult in an annoying way. It also had only 4 levels, which is bullshit.
