This is why I'm a little apprehensive about Season 4. I hold up AD as the only series that had a multi-season run and remained nearly flawless (to me, anyway) right through to the end. It's not my single favorite series of all time (top 3 though) but it's the closest to perfection. It's the only series where I don't

Is the "season 3 is weaker" thing really that pervasive? I agree that S2 is the best, but I've always felt the jokes/references just kept getting more layered and brilliant right through to the end. It never occurred to me to think of S3 as "weak" at all.

The one strange part about that ad - and the one thing that I find distracting about Dunham in general (I'm aware of all the other things, I am on the internet right now, but this ONE thing bothers me) - is that she said on the Colbert Report that she had never had sex. And not in a

Mine is unbelievably lame in retrospect, but I was terrified for literally at least 6 months every night after seeing ERNEST SCARED STUPID.

My guess is that's a timing issue, though you could also say that total disasters make for better water-cooler talk than mediocre cash-in pablum.

Rebuttal: Ghostbusters 2 … he said reflexively, knowing that critical and hipster consensus is that it's not a good movie, despite having a soft spot for it and loving certain elements.

Since some kind of future installment of a property nominally titled "Ghostbusters" is inevitable at this point, I say we, THE INTERNET, start pushing for a so-called reboot.

I think a lot of people need to go back and rewatch the end of the 1st season. As I recall (I haven't watched in a couple years myself) THE PATTERN was ulitmately a result of Walter passing through to the other side in the 1980s. The incidents all eminated outward from Reiden Lake due to the "cracks" his trip caused.
