Lee Van Cleef or GTFO.

Lee Van Cleef or GTFO.

Skylar was the only person left who I could see dropping a record worth a damn tomorrow.  Everyone else is either too green (Joshua, Jessica) or too blah.

He's the singer we deserve, but not the one we need right now.

Straight Dudes Watchin' Idol and Makin' Creepy Comments about Underaged Girls: Skylar in jeans and t-shirt was a very good look.  Damn.

I'm the same way with Jessica.  She's a few years living and/or an Adele level crap relationship away from superstardom.

I'm generally not a fan of Hollie, but she bought it last night.  She's not long for the Idol world, but that was a nice farewell.

I'm with @avclub-b5e4a473ce68944972ab9392a4b04afc:disqus.  She's just inexplicable.  I don't actively dislike her like I did Haley last year, but that's because she's so bland I forget that she's there most of the time.

Screw Aang.  I want to see Korra talk to Kyoshi.
Ownage ensues.

*foams at the mouth*

Drinking game!

The thought of coming across Ozai on his knees with Aang rubbing him as both of them scream without seeing the technicolor show will crack me up for the rest of the night.

YOU'RE EATING IT

I realized about halfway through this episode that Up All Night is hanging out in the Pushing Daisies shaped hole in my heart.  Pushing Daisies was a much better show, but UAN makes me smile a lot.  I want more.

It is very strange that the White Lotus (apparently on Aang's instruction) kept Korra cooped up in the Southern Water Tribe.  You'd think he want his successor to experience the whole world and its various people.  I'm sure the show will explore this oddness.

("Don't mention her skin color.  Don't mention her skin color.  Don't mention… Whew.  Nice job.")

I think there's a racial and sexual thing happening and you can call it racism and sexism if you want (it kinda is), but there's no denying, at least in the past few seasons (the ones I'd actively watched), that there's a pattern.  First the women are cut.  A weak man might drop here and there, but it's mostly women

Indeed.  She's best in small doses (like her 5 second power trip after being named producer), but the show could definitely use her more.
