Actually the President is the only one that can. 24 USC 6103 deals with tax return information. There is a special exemption for presidential requests, and certain white house employees he gives the information to, to do whatever he directs to in writing with such information.

I'm a CPA(Inactive) with posts about IRC 6103 earlier in this thread, and even I don't like thinking or talking about AMT. They did somehow manage to get this completely backwards though.

That wouldn't be covered in the two pages shown. That'd be on schedule A, and only a total of all itemized deductions, with all sorts of adjustments and reductions and possible math involved due to his income or other factors, would be on those pages.

I don't know if it's been covered yet, but you're misinterpreting the Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT).

It is, and they take it very seriously. I've read stories before of IRS employees being prosecuted for accessing information they shouldn't have.

It's very illegal, and their system can track who accesses what information.

Yes, there's an onscreen explanation for Xavier being alive following last stand. It was in the post-credit scene from that same movie. Early in the movie in class he's discussing a vegetative human, in care of Moira, and discussing the ethical issues involved in transferring a dying mind into this husk. In the

States control the mechanisms of voting.

Sit down, and write two letters.

As much as I dislike straight political articles on The AV Club, I have to ask:

Us mens just call him "Sir."

No. He didn't.

If he goes down there he better just beware of a man named Leroy Brown?

I really don't want to scroll through all these comments, but I have a suspicion of how they went and I have to ask:

I have approx. 15 minutes before I have to catch the bus downtown to meet my multi-racial girlfriend afterwork for a drink, so I can't get into an extended argument about things here as I used to.

You know what? Fuck you, collectively, every AVClub staff or editor who contributed to the line "These days, of course, a white man (particularly one as unapologetically
smug as Maher) bragging about being “politically incorrect” just seems
insufferable."
