As the minions would say, "whaaaaa?"

Thanks! Apparently the changes to AMERICAN GRAFFITI were pretty minor and involved mostly just the title card, but I still though that given Lucas' constant changes, they merited mention.

I'm sorry, if the writers are trying to make Sheldon sympathetic this way, they're failing. He was a raging asshole. And Amy needs to tell him to put out or get lost, she's put up with enough of his bullshit.

James Berardinelli at reelviews.com pointed out this fact about RAIDERS (And it is, was, and ever shall be called  RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK and not INDIANA JONES AND THE RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK. Seriously, I've divorced myself from all thing Lucas until the original theatrical versions of the original STAR WARS trilogy

So can I have your job :)? It's harder than ever to become a paid critic these days. I'll miss your column, it was always a fun thing to check up on from time to, it was certainly a good time, but I suppose all good things must come to an end. I wish you all the best of luck in your future endeavors and hope you find

I got into BUFFY with the first season, and went with it off and on for a while before I bailed out in season six. One guy I know who has contradictory tastes in almost everything argues that his problem with the show was that it never decided what it wanted to be. I think it's more a case of the show gradually

Sci-fi is sort of like Cartoon Network. They once showed worthwhile stuff that was actually in keeping with the station's name. Many moons ago. And Netflix, but up the rest of the DCAU and the other seasons of Samurai Jack.

CLOSURE? CLOSURE? You want to talk about needing closure? How was ReBoot supposed to end? How?! I want to know! Almost as much as I want the rest of GARGOYLES and HILL STREET BLUES and Hanna-Barbara's GODZILLA to come out on DVD and want the original versions of STAR WARS remastered! I relate to Penny's lack of

Why won't Netflix stream this?! And why did they take down SG-1 and Farscape? Curse you Netflix! Curse you!

Well, you wouldn't be able to get the proper versions of half of them thanks to Disney and the Weinsteins' hack-jobs of them either. They'd be cut and dubbed, or slapdash transfers. Or you could buy the Fortune Star versions with out-of-sync sound. God, it sucks being a Hong Kong cinema fan. Ah, well, rant over.

There's some dark stuff in Sandman, as well as in a lot of Moore's best work, but there is a great intelligence to it. League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, for instance, is so ridiculously literate that it makes me feel stupid. I remember when I first go into comics, I tried some old-style Stan Lee superhero stuff and

I've always just gone with the library. If you want to get into comics, it's totally free and my local library has a surprising amount of all kinds of stuff. If you want to give something a shot, just get it there, if you don't like it, drop it off.

I think Craven is stronger with ideas than he is with words. Some of his dialogue tends to be clunky, hence the attempt to put him together with Kevin Williamson on the Scream franchise. The problem with this kind of thing is balancing the thrills and spills with the brains, as you say. Craven's best films all hang on
