oh no, is it serious?

is it as scarily strict to qualify as i've been led to believe? i mean, i understand the need to protect the child in question. but if there's a spot on your record from years back, does that automatically take you out of contention?

SAME… good god, the eyes and the accent were killer. and iirc, he was looking good again on his last psych appearance

but… but… what about avail / tim barry?

i had forgotten both of those shows, and now miss them dearly all over again. leagues better than the imitations around now.

ah, that would be an issue then. one i hopt not to face soon, but my car is showing its age more and more

my 06 vw golf has a tape deck. it was the last year they offered them and i'm not letting go.

90% of the time i just put the thing on shuffle, and if i want to switch, i can hit the "next" button without looking.
do you not just put your phone at the set volume, then control it from the car?

fingers crossed on vw going back to boxy bodies. i don't see it happening, but it's the only thing that would make me want to buy another new one.

i'm still using a cassette adapter for my phone & ipod. 2006 vw with good sound, got it brand new and the standard was the cassette/cd pairing. very next model year they started putting the aux inputs in standard. i can't be bothered to replace the stereo as long as crap stores still sell the adapters.
i don't think

oh i get that, but the threat would at least be thrown out there. i just cannot imagine anyone (i know, at least) being ok with working to earn money they already worked to earn. actual lawsuit? not worth her check, but it would surely cause at least complaint threats. and yes i realize how silly it is to put this

"…and as you can see, the water flows straight down, as opposed to other directions."

i almost started shaking with fear when i saw mike heck's silhouette walking up to the quarry… put me right back in the years when i could do no right and inevitably had to face my dad about whatever dumb thing i did. heart pounding fear. very well done, a nice spin on the accidental-party-goes-wild story.
i did not

unfortunately this is not shocking in the least. does anyone else remember after his death there were shirts with his death certificate on them? (a friend had one. we were freshmen at the time, but he's stuck to that 14-year-old douchebag mentality right up to this day)

Basic Instruction Before Logging Elm?

GZA's Comprehensive Wood Guide, thanks

i was happy with both episodes.
i thought the middle made good use out of kirstie alley (even if the main cast's screen time suffered because of it), and i loved frankie's immediate devolution into a needy high school girl around pam freakin' staggs. i also liked sue's advice on the facebook matter - of course sue

sleater-kinney definitely… seeing them in philly next month for the first time, after loving them since 97! (i'm just going to ignore marah's glorious reagan-style slide into dementia, with that "just okay" summation of the woods)

second vote for Dig Me Out. it was the first time i'd ever heard them, and immediately fell in love. listened to it ad nauseum through the summer of 97, there's a really fun sense of urgency in that one. i went right for Call the Doctor after that, which is good and scrappy.
just don't forget about The Woods - it

and vanilla ice!
