The only good part about Anna's desire to keep the information from her husband is that it hints strongly her awareness that's he's murdered before (i.e., Vera).

Yes, but her decision to cover up, in the end, comes down to Bates committing another criminal act on behalf of the family, which sways Mary to give Bates a pass on his *previous* criminal act. An act he committed because apparently the rape was all about him, not his wife.
I too have seen the complete season, and it is laughable to hear you say the storyline is handled "better" than one might expect. It ends up having nothing to do with Anna (or the vulnerability of domestic women at that time) and becomes all about Bates, the revenge machine. It's disgusting.
Refill your shot glass, dear.
Did you already start your drinking game tonight? Because that comment makes no sense.
What a clever retort. *eye roll*
Except for being a total phony whose "trip" at the Oscars was staged.
Thank god Jennifer Lawrence was able to remind every one once again how NORMAL she is with her BFF Taylor Swift. *vomits*
She's definitely got the make-up gun set to "Krusty the Klown."
But what about the Pig Man???
(Hopefully this doesn't double-post, but I'm getting Dickquised this afternoon.)
As a top-tier Bates hater, I greatly appreciation this recommendation!
Donald Sutherland is apparently the dictator of the whole world, but all he seems to do is sit at home and watch TV.
Edgy, trollish choice.
Admission was dreadful as well. I'm surprised it hasn't popped up on many (any?) lists. I can't believe Tina Fey went along with that dreck.
Hey, I just recommended The Tall Guy to someone on the Love Actually post the other day - there are more of us out here than you may realize :)
If you like theatre, The Tall Guy is a must-see: early Emma Thompson, Jeff Goldblum as the hapless straight guy in Rowan Atkinson's sadistic West End show, and best of all, a skewering of the Andrew Lloyd Webber era via a musical adaptation of "The Elephant Man" at the end.
I despise this film so much, I'd watch Sex and the City 2 before subjecting myself to it ever again.
Holy shit, I thought I was the only American Dreamer fan. Saw it when I was ten and bloody loved it :)
