I haven't seen the Romeo & Juliet trailer, but in all honesty, I don't think it needs a revamp!

That she tends to cast amazing Black actresses is almost a downfall though. It's great they get recognition, but then they get contractually locked in to doing endless series of a sh*te show. If even a Black female screenwriter is failing to give Black women good roles on TV, then who can?

Yeah, annoyed watching is accurate, but 'hate watching' is the term I keep seeing being thrown apart.

Whadda ya know? Latest episode of TMP is Kaling reaching out to a female to be her friend & helping out another ethnic minority after how many seasons?

Are most people hate watching this & every other Shonda Rimes show? I skim the Scandal reviews because there's a part of me that misses it (especially Mellie), but then week after week (season after season, even), the reviews indicate that it's piss poor.

Because it's fizzled out completely and has amounted to very little… I think it's a pity because the actress who plays PEOTUS is one of my favourites in House of Cards. I was really excited about her having a substantially meaty role, even as a minor character.

And another show I've only heard of/seen thanks to the grades on AV Club's TV Club landing page. This looks good :)

I've never heard of this show before but have seen it get consistently high grades in the AV Club reviews. Wish there was a short synopsis about it in AV club reviews!

Damn. First, Astrid gets punched by the love of her life and then she dies. What a way to go! Quinn's cries at the end were piercing. I laughed though when Astrid remarked how Peter talks more now and then was expecting him to declare his love for her. How does that statement not just support Quinn's view of their

For ordinary people, yes. Except moments earlier she mentioned she's highly trained to deal with crises in a focused and pragmatic way. Reacting to her child being taken away because she was negligent and endangering her child by jumping off the wagon was a smart & pragmatic move on her part.

I love this series so much.
I didn't know about Law & Order: SVU & when I realised this was a Trump episode, I sighed initially after Shonda Rimes' hatchet jobs of late, but this was impeccably done (agree about the tweet).

Agree. Love Beth & Randall's marriage - their family are the most compelling characters.

Does anyone else think the actor who plays Elijah (Andrew Rannells) looks like he could be the male version ((twin) brother) of the actress who plays Lindsay (Kether Donohue) in 'You're the Worst?'

While I accept she's a flawed character, I'm not talking about other alcoholics.

Joshua's reviews have been spot on. This season isn't compelling even for its character drama, because as Joshua states, it's trying too hard to combine Carrie's former and current worlds.

I've binged watched episodes from s3 this past weekend (the one thing I notice though is how Lena Dunham's version of New York is largely absent of POC even in the background). I used to hate watch this series, but I got bored and started it again. I have to say, the bottle episodes are definitely the better ones. The

Imagine this scenario.

Obvs, I meant to write "my father's son", but nonetheless, I was addressing more widely why that particular wording was being repeated by "people", myself being one of them.

I've heard of 'Being Mary Jane', but had no idea what it's about, but damn, 'Queen Sugar' looks good! Thanks for mentioning it!

I've seen it mentioned a lot and wanted to watch it, but didn't know what kind of family drama it would be. Sounds like it's a miss.
