This supposed Simpsons decline gibberish makes little sense to me.  It's all relative.  Yes, there are more groaners, more misses the last several years, but the high {great : bad} ratio is still overwhelming.  
It consistently makes me laugh several times a week, even the newest episodes, and no other show does that.
