I'm okay with the silly here. The A-story is pretty heavy, and a double dose on top of it. It adds a little lightness to the mix without undermining the seriousness of the main plot. IMHO.

Thanks for having this conversation here, and ID'ing yourselves as women. My girlfriend at the time this was on didn't understand my admiration for and attraction to Kira (and before her, Ro). I was raised by a single mother, born of the Depression. She was an independent woman before it became cool (if it ever has).

"Through a Mirror, Darkly" was pretty cool too, even going so far as to feature an alternate universe opening credits and theme which doesn't quite make sense but after 3.5 seasons of Faith of the Heart I'd have cheered for that 'A Clockwork Orange' slide show set to Bananaphone. Enterprise was firing on all cylinders

You don't happen to have the title or episode number handy for that, do you? I only started watching Leverage last season, and while I don't feel like going through the whole back catalog I'd love to know which episodes are fun enough to seek out, and that one does sound like fun.

And isn't the Terminator series basically "man vs security system" writ large?

What Dorium's Head said. Turn over a war criminal for justice and to save the lives of a few dozen innocents? It doesn't seem to be a very complicated moral calculation, even to a non-violent man.

I'd add Fletcher to that list. Oh, and Hertzler. Oh hell, there's just too many.

Why does the Doctor not have a trowel on his person at all times?

I was just thinking about that show recently. I think it would be a good inspiration for a remake. It's still a cool idea, and they couldn't possibly fuck it up worse if they tried.

And I'm all out of ass.
