I'm disappointed
These bread bowls have "roll me in eggs and bread crumbs and toss the whole thing in the deep fryer" written all over them.

Looks like I need to queue up Ugetsu . . . never seen it.
Right, because traditionally fairy tales and other fables have NEVER been heavy handed morality tales, EVER, NEVER.
Yeah . . . except for the part where everyone is raptured away in the end and the airplane crashes.
I beat you to it!
I just recently watched Pulse after the Cult Cannon entry, and I have to say, I wasn't blown away.
I like 2 the best out of the entire series, but I think 4 is definitely the most "j-horror" of the bunch. As far as scary games go, SH4 is pretty well up there, despite all its flaws, its creepy as hell.
No love for J-Horror in video games?
Silent Hill 4? Siren? Come on AVC!
For some classic "J-Horror"
Check out Onibaba, and Jigoku.
Ichi the Killer is definitely not J-Horror
Or are we just lumping all japanese cult films into the "J-Horror" bag?
If I got any sort of impression from any of the reviews of this film that it was a sort of tongue in cheek, over the top campfest, I might laugh. But from what I have read (again, have not seen and do not intend to see the film) it is just pure crap, and PG-13 crap at that. No thanks.
Good
This show is terrible. I can't believe people were paid actual dollars to write the script, fucking awful. It always amazes me that so many people can be assigned to produce a show that is so totally and utterly without any merit whatsoever.
Don't bother watching it. It's painfully unfunny.
It's a lame plot device. They want you to really, really hate the bad guys, so they kill a kitten, I guess.
She also says they had to seriously tone down a scene where the antagonists melt a kitten for no real reason;
Jesus, I am not sorry I missed this one. And I won't be watching it on purpose either.
@Mike: "I grew up reading Crichton, and really enjoy his novels."
I think that was the last time anyone thought about Laura Flynn Boyle, until Twin Peaks was released on DVD.
"(Oh, and it was very weird hearing Jones say some of the exact same lines that Attenborough did.) "
They should make a non-interracial Jungle Fever!
I've only seen Rising Sun once and when I saw it I was too young to know who either of those guys were. All I know is that I watched this R rated movie thinking I'd get to see the hot chick from Wayne's World naked, and had my 13 year old libido sorely disappointed.
