Ok, the movie is pretty mediocre, not eye-clawingly bad. McGann is brilliant in it, though, as he is here.

I did! And then I spammed other threads until this got put up! Then I started working again and didn't notice this had been put up until just now! Hooray!
Ahem, there is another 7-minute short released today that is of interest to Doctor Who aficionados…
Hey Chris Pratt, I'm real happy for yr dinosaur abs, and I'mma let you finish, but…

what what?
Great interview, Marah. In my work life (hell, a good part of my non-work life too) I spend a decent amount of time w Deaf and hard-of-hearing folks. So it's very cool to see a spotlight of sorts on the crazy hard work ASL interpreters do to bridge the Deaf and hearing communities, especially at big public events.
it's ok, my skankin' bruhs, i kinda liked "Hello Rockview" 12 years ago, too.
lolwhut
It's written very intentionally as an homage/pastiche of 19th Century mannered Brit lit, so I think a BBC miniseries is the best possible adaptation choice. If they find a way to lovingly send up/slightly tweak the high prestige costume drama w this whilst capturing the deep mythology of the book, it could be the best…
Tom Baker if it's especially silly.
That's actually pretty fantastic.
I always had Steve Coogan in my head as Strange, actually. And Gary Oldman as Thistledown Hair. Second Holm as Norrell.
Haven't had the chance to see it yet, either. Way more excited about this one than Web, however.
Yup. Black Sails, the All Hallows EP and The Art of Drowning still get a lot of play for me this time of year.
it was Andrew WK.
ditto on all the things!
I could've watched another minute of that, to be sure. Needed more Troughton, but then that's true of everything.
