Ian Levine, former "continuity consultant" during the Davison and C Baker years and all-around living stereotype of Who fans, and Tom Spilsbury, editor of Doctor Who Monthly, just had a spat on Levine's public Facebook page over the delayed announcement that's very illuminating…

Again, all 106 being found in one place is incredibly unlikely (as is finding all 106 anywhere, for various reasons). However, it is the case that a concerted worldwide search for these episodes has been underway for several years now, with a lot of time spent in sub-Saharan Africa, as well as Australia, New Zealand,

Hold that thought…

106 Episodes being found in Ethiopia is almost certainly false. That said, the Radio Times and the Guardian are also reporting a find, and an announcement by the end of the week, along w a release of at least two missing episodes to streaming platforms to closely follow.

I read this title as "Neil DeGrasse Tyson has some scientific boners…", was intrigued, read again, lost a few of my own scientific boners.

Stop hodoring, Hodor!

Her fingernails, they doth shine like justice.

Think I agree w your appraisal of Season 7. None of it's bad, but unlike previous seasons, there's nothing that screams 'instant classic' to me upon first viewing. 'Asylum' and 'Snowmen' come close, and may get there w time. 'Hide' and 'Crimson Horror' maybe too.

Yeah, Jerry shouldn't have come off the boat for this one.

Point of order, 'Runaway' was released in '60 or '61. And it's one of the greatest pop recordings ever.

i think i've found a new pickup line:

oh, now…

1. Random Access Memories (I understood people's hesitancy to embrace this at first, but the more i listen, the more i don't understand why this isn't the biggest deal of the year. So much more going on than just 'the robots go disco/yacht rock'.)

Delgado is absolutely the best Master. Ainley really only comes close in 'Survival', and Derek Jacobi is reliably great in his brief time in the role, but the others don't come close. I like the unhinged direction RTD and Simm tried to take things, but it didn't quite work in execution.
