HUSK!

That Allmusic take on that particular era is a little on the nose, since my favorite cut on either Futures or Stay on My Side is, in fact, called 'Disintegration'.

Really? Not trolling at all, maybe I need to give it another try. I prefer Invented (or at least its high points) at the moment, so much that I was kinda sorta looking forward to this new album. Oh well.

Hipster Dbag, that you?

I also dug Probot. I'd say dig, but in all honesty, I haven't listened to that album in years.

it's a song of ICE and FIRE. Thrones are ultimately irrelevant. However, the political intrigue is done so well, and it's the hook that pulls many, if not most, viewers/readers in, that I worry the true endgame will really lose a lot of folks.

Anus Tart?

Pertwee did five seasons, and Colin Baker two (though not by choice). McCoy's three were also not by choice. The only Docs that have done three by choice are Troughton, Davison (at least partly due to Troughton's advice), Tennant, and now Smith.

I really hope he kills it these last two specials. Something tells me he will.

I came on board by catching up w the Eccleston/Tennant/RTD years, so Matt's era was the first I experienced more or less in real time. And what a treat he's been. My favorite performances (not necessarily my favorite eps overall):

Bridge companions are pretty important, though. Sure, they made the 'clean slate' reboot w Smith and Gillan work, but that was introducing a new showrunner as well. Seeing as Moffat's still in charge, having JLC stick around for the new Doc makes a lot of sense to me. Also, I love Jenna always and forever and she can

My guess is they won't actually start filming the new series until early 2014, giving plenty of time for his hair to grow back to something approximating its Doctorish length.

If the anoraks over at Gallifrey Base are to be believed, it's incontrovertible proof that Smith is regenerating on 11.23, despite recent interviews seeming to hint at the contrary.

the irony of course being that the phrase 'wibbly wobbly timey wimey' made its debut in Blink.

Come now, we all know John Hurt is playing Paul McGann as The Rani, who is actually the Master's beard of Omega Rassilon, loomed by the Cartmel Masterplan and Cardinal Bosura

I watched the tail end of the documentary before the actual finale, and Carell was in one of the closing shots there. So that's when I knew he'd be back. Still a perfect moment, though.

Lobstered gauntlets or GTFO

My Doctor list, w commentary!

Looks like next week is pretty much all fireworks factory.

Oh, there will still be plenty to dislike about Republicans even after they become pro-gay marriage. 'Course, there's an awful lot I dislike about Democrats too, and they're almost identical to the things I dislike about the GOP.
