It seems like the word was just supposed to be heir, but got mistranslated as prince at some point and it stuck, or even that that was the translation specifically told to Dany by her crazy brother. It's not like it's weird that the Valyrians would have a non-gendered noun for heir.

He's a eunuch, not a castrato.

Protective gear comes in whatever colour it's made in. If it was winter you'd want to have things in lighter, winter colours, not black. Dead grass, snow, lichen…
It definitely gives it a more sombre vibe though, way more deathy

I think it being winter makes their magic be stronger? Like maybe they would be less immune to damage, have corpses not convert so quickly.

Getting cable just for CBS in Canada would be about $40 a month. I hope their streaming service is offered here too, although it probably won't be.

Isn't that sword important in the fight against the wights? I thought valeryian steel worked against them like dragonglass but Jon didn't even mention it when he was talking about weapons

Why is there so much fist-bumping???

Wine, I think

Yeah, this reminds me of the last season or so of David Tennant's run as the Doctor. Just a bunch of fast-paced silly fx nonsense and no real story.

I don't know…I don't see the millennial dissing coming from gen x ers. I see it from 50+ people. I think they may have been a bit of a gap generation. To young to be boomers, too late to be Xers - an I forgetting a generation?

I'm in Canada…I have not really seem this here. Maybe something is actually wrong there, with the water or something?

But that would have deprived us of the "you're only six clicks away!" joke. And yeah. I still see freeware as as complicated/un-userfriendly as this, but nothing that would actually have a marketing budget.

I would take the technical "jargon" in this show with a grain of salt. The compression algorithm is staying - it's the platform that's being radically changed. The platform would be the implementation and delivery method and/or user interface.

I agree. He's always been a troubling character. I wasn't really bothered by the anal sex episode, although it was definitely weird. But if he was this sulky/manipulative and controlling with his first wife, it's not really unreasonable that she would have cheated and left. Plus between what he said to Mindy about her

I totally agree with your ordering. I've actually never seen the first one, only the second two of the original trilogy, but I think Fury Road fits between RW and BT in terms of sophistication/size of societies represented.

It's not vindictive, it helps aid the transition… Doctor Who does the same thing when they're changing doctors. It is really lame though, because it turns a beloved character into someone else for their final appearances.

If I had to choose between re-watching the Xmas Special or rewatching/watching any of the actual Star Wars movies, I would choose this, every time.

I hated colouring as a child, and now it's somehow come back? No.

I originally assumed that the gamergate rage was directed at *the journalist* who had reviewed the indie game, given that it was about ethics in journalism. So I was baffled to discover otherwise. But then I realized that the game developer's vagina made him review it, and it all made sense.

I finally watched one of her videos recently and my strongest reaction was "*this* is what people are freaking out about?" The video I watched seemed very poorly researched and her arguments were shallow. She made some points, but they weren't particularly well supported, and there was no effort at all to provide any
