I'm pretty sure Joel Schumacher apologized for Batman and Robin, right?

While watching the first thirty seconds, I've gone from "Oh, this is good" to "Oh, this is terrible" back to "Oh, this is good" followed by another "Oh, this is terrible."

I went back and looked through The AV Club's "community grades" for every episode to see how the community as a whole perceived the show. It's rather interesting. "Meditations in an Emergency", "Shut the Door. Have a Seat" and "The Suitcase" are the only three episodes to get a solid A from the community. Despite all

That's a very illuminating, well-reasoned response, Zack. In a way Breaking Bad has already dipped its toe in that expectations pool with the finale of the second season. "as a first-season show it can't make a claim to TV classic status as Mad Men can, which might influence Emmy voters."

I'm actually going to have to agree with both of you. I also prefer Mad Men over The Wire, even though I completely admire and love that classic Baltimore tragedy. My thing is this — there are a million ways to interpret Mad Men. Someone other than me can watch it and get something completely different than what I got

The subconscious is never very subtle. I've written short stories where the characters have dreams based on dreams that I've had. And, as a writer, you can't use the actual dialogue you remember from your dream. It always sounds blunt and ridiculous. Strangely enough, your subconscious is not concerned with capturing
