I agree. I liked that the series showed some of the positive effects that experimental drug use can have on your life. 'Mad Men' is the only other show that I can think of with a similar take.

The third season finale ends a perfect run. There are some great episodes in the fourth and fifth season, though, so you could probably watch until the finale of Season 5 too.

Some perspective —- Arrested Development was getting better ratings than The Office Season 8 back when it was airing on Sundays. (Also, it was getting stronger ratings than pretty much everything on NBC's current Thursday line-up).
