Maybe, but if I had to choose between one experience or the other, I'd still rather be in a crowd of people that love the band they're seeing. I suppose it depends on just how obnoxious they really were about their love (bands that inspire a lot of bad dancing in the audience really distract me, but only because they

I remember playing that song for a roommate when I knew very well that his favorite band was Papa Roach. He immediately threw that CD right out of the car we were in…while it was moving.

Grow a great beard and show me his record collection/huge dick.

It's way better than some of the garage shows I go to, where great artists are ignored and overshadowed by a crowd of idiots that just want to mosh even though it doesn't make any fucking sense - because they're too drunk not to. Granted I've been to some shows where an artist isn't all that great and totally unworthy

So you don't like artists you love to be lauded for the reasons you love them?

@paraclete_pizza:disqus At this point, even a weak episode would do it for me. I've really missed watching the show! Also, I don't know if anyone has loved Troy and Britta being together, but a big draw for me tuning in is based on the fact that they're over.

@avclub-63706c2231765ca840e9a60a76fae00a:disqus Those episodes were awful enough that I was just going to pretend this season didn't exist. I certainly loved the previous seasons, although admittedly, there were problematic spots here and there for me.

It did seem way too soon to revisit this premise again, and I think that's exactly why I didn't love this episode as much as I could have.

Your comment is actually making me want to at least check out this episode after having been scared off of Community forever from the first two episodes of this season.

@avclub-b0dae075785888267fc19871f3e7dab7:disqus somehow that made me like Gosling even more. UGH.

@teh dude: I'd actually be more likely to just say nothing if I were upset about your comment. If you had originally made the statement you had just made though, I probably wouldn't have found your comment so irrational and obnoxious. I just don't agree with you - I'm one of those people who feels…well if I see that

Oh man! INTERESTING. There's that one scene in the upcoming episode where it looks like Clark is pulling out a gun or getting angry or something (I should probably rewatch that) but that's totally a possibility!

I sort of idolized the hell out of Sherilyn Fenn until I read her blog…and now I feel a little shallow admitting that. Thank god none of the celebrities/guys in bands I crush on seem dumb though (Ryan Gosling don't let me down)!

Well, I think the writers set up the Philip/Elizabeth split just to suit the plot because now, just when the FBI happens to be looking for a couple, they suddenly have no hope of reconciliation even though they both know the other still wants to work things out? If they've really known each other for as long as we're

I don't know, personally I really don't mind if someone disagrees with
me, I care whether they can intelligently argue why they feel the way they do. It's kind of great that you can pin down his appeal to you because I usually think what we find funny is just too intangible to explain to other people. You can explain

Jeselnik rules. The end.

I definitely agree that Nina needed all three events to come into play to turn and already didn't believe Stan for a while. So amazing when she finally turned though! One of my favorite moments on this show hands down. Ugh. I'm excited for the finale but sad it won't be back for a while.

It's been a few months since I've tuned in to his stuff (so much school) but if he's trying a suicidal approach, that sounds amazingly experimental and would be fun to watch. Also, thanks for proving we're capable of having some reasonable discussions around here!

The frat guy types I've known at least have been gay friendly and pretty gay/bi themselves/think doing "gay stuff" is hilarious and joke constantly about making out with dudes or sucking dick. Which is why I think he really has the 18-34 male on lock, that's their sense of humor. I just think his persona is clearly

I guess that's exactly what I would think would be a caricature of the modern frat guy - self absorbed, sort of metro, homophobic but really into his bros or bromance or whatever.
