After reading this review, I can truthfully say I have not even the slightest clue as to what this film is.

I love the way David Lynch refuses to put a "the" before "Late Show." It's always just "Late Show," no definite article. No article whatsoever!

Totally disagree with totally disagree. He writes about his love of Arthur Conan Doyle in Maps and Legends, and as such, he should have either written the book such an homage deserved or not written at all. He went half-assed instead, starting out writing his usual (wonderful!) long-winded way, then either got tired

One of the joy's of Chabon's writing is his verbosity. When a writer is good at being long-winded, let him be long-winded. I've only been saddened by the oncoming conclusions of his novels.
