Ummm
Shouldn't we mention "Broadcast News" in this article? Sounds similar.

Jidges clearly missed last week's US Weekly.
Don't tell me how to live.
She is to teenagers what Kristy MacNicol was to your generation. And hollywood has a boner for anyone who can bring in the kiddies.
Kerri Russell
I think Kerri Russell is the main problem. She is adorable as hell, but she does not have the rhythm for a show like this. She is too mannered, like she is acting on a 3 camera sitcom. Someone like Portia De Rossi could sell those mid-sentence changes of heart. Russell just isn't up for it.
To Be Fair
Thirty percent of those came from that one episode of "Better Off Ted" where the company demanded they use offensive language.
Marlene
I think the interesting thing about Marlene and her suicide is the fact that what spurred it on was her being a threat to Adam. In the past three months (or however long in show-time the series has spanned) she went from a lonely misanthrope to a woman with a circle of friends and people to care about (and…
They can only arrest so many criminal masterminds, international assassins and cartel bigwigs before people have to stop demanding he do things by the book.
Can we all just come together and agree that Drew Berrymore looks like a real-life Lego Person?
Johnny Depp. Will Smith. Hugh Jackman. Tom Hanks. Julia Roberts. Cameron Diaz. Steve Carrell. Nicole Kidman. Charlize Theron. DeNiro. Kate Beckinsale. Ryan Reynolds. Sandra Bullock. Robert Downey Jr.. Nicholas Cage. Scarlett Johanssen.
All of them. Eddie Murphy now plays multiple roles in every Hollywood film. He played Precious.
Well put, Dot (if I may use your formal title). One of the things that has soured me on The Big Bang Theory is just how cruel those guys are to one another. You get the feeling that they wouldn't spend time together if they were capable of making any other friends.
Intellectually I know that Modern Family is the "better" show, with twistier plots and a more realistic tone, but at this point Cougar Town is second only to Community in terms of shows I look forward to watching every week.
The episode with Dr. Cox actually used it twice to great effect. The first time was him slam dunking (and then throwing out his back) and the second was him bending down to pick something up off the ground to prove his back was fine. I think water flowing from one nostril to another is somewhere in between the two…
How Dare You
Mention Bret Ratner in an article and not include that picture of him looking at the Big Book of Butts?
Since this will be a comedy, they should probably get someone funny to play the president.
Oh, and I would like my undies back.
I Think I Am Done
As I was watching this show last night, I kept thinking "I don't care about any of these people." I love me some Chiklis, and don't mind Julie Benz, plus I enjoy both sidekicks, but in the end I just don't care what is happening to any member of the family. I am already bored with both kids, and…
Raj has a girlfriend?
I don't like them tossing out a throwaway line that Raj suddenly has a girlfriend because she is deaf. It is as though the writers have ignored the general idea behind Raj not being able to talk to women. It isn't an allergic reaction. It is because he is terrified of women and it makes him…
That argument contains a fallacy I like to refer to as the Mark Walberg Deficiency. Any remake of a classic film that includes him is guaranteed to be bad, not simply because they are remakes of classic films, but because they are remakes of classic films starring Mark Walberg.
