Sure, you'll cover this show called Utopia. I'll bet it doesn't have any child-murder at all!

That description of Not My Type reminds of another cool little French movie from a few years ago that I really enjoyed, The Names of Love.

If only you could pre-pre-order it.

Clearly the giant supercomputer that writes all the AV Club articles is starting to break down. Soon we will finally be free!

Spaceballs is one of those movies I only recently found out that there are people who don't like it, and I still don't really believe it. Like The Fifth Element.

If that three-minute sequence is the one where they fast-foward and rewind the movie you'd win points for meta.

Sounds good.

Family Guy.

I think being uncomfortable with the idea of inherit gender or racial differences seems like a pretty realistic stance, given the strong tendency throughout history that people have to make them up.

No, no. nonono.

You leave Futurama alone! Hasn't it been through enough?

I wouldn't say easy to watch exactly, like anything by Tarkovsky it's beautiful and very, very slow paced. There's a lot of cool, interesting Sci-Fi ideas in it. It feels like a sad, romantic, Russian alternative to 2001.

It's as big a travesty as The Shining.

After years of hearing how good this was I finally watched it. And yeah, it's pretty great. It's more accurate to what I imagine a real criminal sociopath is actually like than just about anything else. I read in a book once that the main weapon a lot of them use to manipulate people is pity, and Chopper fits that

You clearly haven't seen the documentary "City of Angels". They're all over the damn place. You can't clean your gutters without pulling out a couple of angels.

Every time I hear that song I keep expecting it to segue into Give It Away like the Weird Al version does and it's really frustrating when it doesn't.

The Johannaissance continues!

Pop girls need credibility?

Ah, do we hate BoingBoing now too? I can't keep up.

They've ordered 10,000 hour-long episodes. By the end it's going to be really good.
