I think the show could have done better than Ricks cliched violent outburst. As much as i like the show, the characters are not very well developed, and it makes moments like these harder because we just don't care. I don't believe she is dead, just like i didn't believe that Andrew was dead after "Sick". If the death didn't happen on screen then it didn't happen. They are probably just trying to set up for some big reveal next week or the week after where she is actually alive.
