Yeah I liked how humanity turned off the lights signalling they wanted to kill the moon. But there are good people like Clara even though she was heartbroken at how even she hesitated.

I loved when when Silverman said it wasn't crazy that she's hosting. It wasn't because she's awesome! The opening was killer.

She's jumping on the bandwagon. We were here first! But you're probably right that she wasn't in the right mood when she first binge-watched the first seven episodes. The show's probably easier to take in smaller doses, once a week. Although I am looking forward to next week's episode!

Along with the Archbishop and Barrow, there was also Zinberg talking about shared knowledge and competition with Thack, Galvinger and Bertie at the conference. Also, Thack and Bertie's father debated over making money or saving lives.

I'd give the episode and A- and the season an A. It's become my favorite show of the year after Game of Thrones (Purple Wedding? Dragons? Come on.) and up there possibly surpassing Orphan Black and Person of Interest and just edging out Outlander (something else I'm forgetting?)

I got the sense that she felt it was too political and preachy and then after learning nobody else thought so, she changed her mind.

Interesting that Emily Nussbaum changed her mind about the show and now likes it. Good for her. I wonder if partly she was convinced by people she knows who like it or by the discussion in the media about the show. I bet not many AV Clubbers have changed their minds about shows!

The scene where Marco was trying to rally and buck up the daughter with the gun shot wound was the most poignant for me. No doubt he was thinking of his son and if he could just save this girl. I also liked how the Juarez police station receptionist was shocked when Marco came in with Fausto. And Fausto's projectile

The father looked like the guy who introduced Monty Python. "It's…"

I disagree. I agree in that whenever a conspiracy theorist goes on a rant about the CIA or whatever the natural tendency is to roll your eyes but often paranoids really do have enemies.

What did Root tell Finch? The nautilus is one of nature's examples of a logarithmic spiral? Like the Machine and Samaritan are algorithmic spirals. The game's puzzle clues: looking for a lost dog like Claire who is searching for meaning and checking out the motorcycle gang's clubhouse. Claire joins Samaritan's club

Regarding the the episode's title…

I liked the hopeful tone of the finale, even after Kaufman and Gini's ex-boyfriend took the spotlight.

I loved it. The deadpan tone was hilarious. The weird scene of a castle with a bridge. It was perfect.

Great episode. It's a problem when the cops are leading the riot.

I caught that too. Maybe they did say that back then.

Fausto wonders why rich girls use drugs.

Someone suggested that the Cara Buono assassin was comparable to Hersh. I'd see her more like Root cleaning up for Samaritan. But at the beginning I think she sent a text message to John Greer. And Greer is already thinking about dumping the Senator.

Dude I would not stop laughing for ten minutes. Instant A+ episode.
