I know what a straw man argument is. You make it when you say the show is nothing but a propaganda piece about how the West is awesome and the Middle East is nothing but barbarians.

Enjoyed Marc Maron's show this season and looking forward to the finale this week. The theme appears to be that he's "made it big" as a comic. Part of why I like it I guess is that I sort of identify with the guy. It's funny to see him promoting the show on @Midnight and on talk shows. Josh Brenner is my favorite also…
No I think I'll ignore your comments from now on. You're an idiot.
My comment isn't silly at all.
The cure for trolls like you is to ignore your comments.
Like I said I find the show thought provoking even if it's not the best show ever. You're the type who finds everything that doesn't agree with your politics as boring and subpar. How shameful.
You just hate the politics so you make all sorts of BS aesthetic complaints. How dishonest. Have some balls and come out and say what you really think.
"they won't learn much from it except that enlightenment as usual most come from the west and leaders in the middle east are raping violent barbarians.
And yet they're still reviewing Under the Dome. And Defiance which I like but it's no better than Tyrant. To pick two examples.
Thoughts about the history of the Middle East (and the non-rich areas of the globe.) Thoughts about what Barry's going through as the son of tyrant. Does he feel loyalty to his brother and mother? To the country where he was born? Why did he leave in the first the place?
Yes I remembered how Rashida Jones did the same thing.
I like how Stahma goes and chats with Amanda about feminsim. "You're not alone" Amanda tells her. Then Stahma goes off and kills the Stockholm Syndrome women who are standing in her way and frames the priest. Datak was impressed! And not what Amanda was getting at. I'm also really liking the Rafe and Datak alliance of…
I had high expectations after the pilot and it was pretty good. Wasn't the relationship between Gretchen's friend and her husband pretty weird? He observed how she's so mean to him around Gretchen. I did like how Jimmy winced when Gretchen said she liked the restaurant just not with him. It will be interesting to see…
Each generation is fucked up in its own special way.
You nailed why I like this show. It's more realistic and authentic than what you normally find on TV in showing how two fucked-up (by society's standards) normal (by comparison) people find themselves on the same wavelength at times and are trying to have a relationship.
In my view he gets a free ride because there's no competition. Who is he up against? Noah? Life of Pi?
Yeah he probably loved Chappelle's success and fame but then Chappelle just dropped the show and went to Africa. That's what I meant by "took off."
I found Brennan off-putting on @Midnight but thought his bit here was pretty good. Wow I didn't realize he was Chappelle's partner on the Chappelle show.
From Veep?
This episode was a vast improvement. Even the robot kid was smiling a bit. (and he has a smarter sister in the works!)
