Agreed. He should have called the cops right away. My response was to the guy who said Malvo had "won."

Gus prevented Malvo from killing his wife and prevented his daughter from having to go to another funeral. There was an assist from Lester because of the bear trap.

haha I kind of liked that guy. It *was* like Repo Man.

Yeah critics often come off as saying simply that the show is bad and you are dumb for enjoying it.

So Joe is like Oberyn Martell? If you're going to dance at an impromptu punk party it has to be in your tighty-whiteys.

A great episode from my favorite show.

It's plausible, but Dany and Stannis try to be good and just. However Stannis does burn people at the stake and Dany's dragons get out of control.

It's going to be Aegon, Dany, Jon Snow, and Tyrion versus the White Walkers. They'll get help from Stannis and R'hllor, the Iron Islanders, the Children of the Forest, Arya, Sansa, Dorne, and Podrick Payne who has been a Faceless Man all along and is leader of the assassins guild.

You may be right. But the Lannisters - Tywin - was behind the Red Wedding. Killing Joffrey was what the Tyrells wanted so cooperating with them achieved two goals. As Cersei fears, Margaery will control Tommen. When Tywin dies the Lannisters are done. The Red Wedding will be avenged and Littlefinger will have a friend

okay no problem.

I couldn't watch Hannibal. True Blood's camp and cartoonishness makes it easier to watch. Dexter never appealed to me.

Yeah I couldn't watch Hannibal even though I can handle the violence of Game of Thrones.

But hasn't there been less war since the arrival of the nuclear age and the end of the Cold War?

Agreed Sansa sees Littlefinger for what he really is. Although the show softened him in a way in that it had him say that he helped kill Joffrey because he killed Catelyn. I don't think they spelled that out in the books and I was under impression that Littlefinger's overrriding goal was power and wealth, not avenging

I don't understand the discussion about violence - which I'm not a fan of - and privilege - people who can afford HBO.

Well so what? She says something about violence and privilege which I don't understand and don't necessarily buy.

I found the books more cartoony - which I liked. The show is more realistic - which I like as well - so the violence is more shocking. My personal preference would have been for less Ramsey-Theon torture and Ros full of Joffrey's arrows seemed a little much. But those are small things.

Gina Torres is awesome. I loved when Harvey said "I like him!" Very Clooneyesque. Louis going ga-ga over the business card reminded me of Bateman in American Psycho.
