A regular gas mask and it was reminiscent of Walter White in his tightie-whities, but the guy looked bigger and meaner than White and had various tattoos. Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if he was super high on various drugs.

As the reviewer pointed out, Freeman was outstanding in this episode. He made me laugh with those quizzical facial experssions. Cumberbatch was good too.
