I could serve you if you'd have me. You have courage. Not battle courage perhaps, I don't know, but a pedant's kind of courage.
He informed on her at first but switched loyalties instead of going back home. Are you not allowed to do that?
SPOILER

I don't follow. Doesn't what happens in the sample chapter follow events that take place in ADWD? Doesn't the chapter take place after the battle?
@avclub-f14314bf4d4a1bd450664f089241fe86:disqus Good one. Forgot about that. And he gave her a handkerchief.
Haha, Tyrion should should start calling him Sandy.
@avclub-d7f43e1fb2d4977c86163d9b0cb07814:disqus Same thing occurred to me. Was he in that scene in the book?
Yeah made me think of Bush dodging that shoe at the Iraqi press conference. Say what you want about the man, he had cat-like reflexes.
Agreed, I never had much sympathy for Theon while reading the books and was slightly disappointed when they elevated him in season one. But it's really paying off now in large part thanks to Allen. I really wanted Luwin to convince him not to kill Rodrik. But then again if he's going the Ironborn route, he has to go…
@avclub-9ff7c9eb9d37f434db778f59178012da:disqus YES and if I remember correctly he rarely displayed emotion except maybe a slight displeasure. My imagination conjured up a more chilling Roose. Like Lance Henricksen's android Bishop in Aliens.
Ides of March is a good movie. Evan Rachel Wood is one of the hottest females on the planet. Plus you get Paul Giamatti and Philip Seymour Hoffman yelling a lot.
Horses spook too easily.
Didn't look like he recognized her to me. Seems unlikely and the only scene I remember him talking to her (plus Sansa and Septa) was at the tourney.
The 16 episodes of the show have given so much info that I imagine it would be hard for people who haven't read the books to notice everything (or even people who have to remember everything.)
I really doubt Jorah betrayed Daenerys. He's uber-loyal like Brienne. Like Rodrik they'd rather die than dishonor themselves.
Osha tried to play the unwilling prisoner card, but Theon wouldn't give her a spear. So she played the seductress card and Theon being who he is - e.g Roz, captain's daughter, Yara, impudent little wench earlier - fell for it. Jon by contrast wouldn't get busy with Ygritte.
Yeah he definitely could be in a band. He looks to me like he's from the classic rock era, like a bass player in Blue Oyster Cult or Foghat.
@avclub-98470000dfdbcbccf2c7cd42d80955ae:disqus Yeah I laughed a lot. Even at Joffrey being hit by the cow pie. Nice toss! I was laughing at poor Daenerys who can't get a ship unless she sleeps with someone. Lots of funny stuff, but sad to see Rodrik die. (and was that Irri "it is known" at the end?) Poor Sansa's…
@IndependentGeorge:disqus yeah but i don't remember any "puppy eyes" until this episode. Maybe I'm wrong.
