I suppose they'd also need to introduce a Ms. Marvel for Rogue to permanently steal those powers from…

I just like the fact that all of that confusion is the result of two decisions:

Ah! Didn't Wolverine sacrifice Jean in the Grant Morrison era, similar to Last Stand? I can't even keep track.

I'm guessing he means the "now it's MY turn!" moment in the sewers. Which—I mean, I don't expect the Hellfire Club will really be involved here, since Shaw was introduced as a WW2-era villain, and the White Queen has appeared TWICE as two different characters now. I half assume maybe the Brood will appear since

I can't begin to imagine how an X-Tinction Agenda movie would work. You mean with Madripoor, Cameron Hodge as a head on a scorpion robot, etc.?

She'd actually make a better Phoenix/Dark Phoenix. Now I wish she was Jean Grey, rather than Sophie Turner.
Were the shiny gold-clad aliens in GOTG 2 supposed to be based on any alien race in particular? It really seemed they were trolling fans into thinking they were supposed to be the Shi'ar. The leader's helmet

Dang. That would've been so much cooler than the Lumineers.

Yeah, that tour was WAY too short.

I've seen most of my musical heroes, although sometimes after their creative peak, or after certain members left (Pink Floyd after Waters left, Genesis and The Police on reunion shows, etc.). But, Johnny Cash. Can't say I listen to him much these days, but I was a definite fan when we left us.

I see what you did there…

Yeah, admittedly, whenever I get a drink like that in a restaurant I'm often reminded how darn good they can be. But at home, laziness and instant gratification win out.

It seems Something Happened On the Way to the Kitchen for a Midnight Snack.

GREAT song.

Yep. It's a double-edged sword. You want thoughtful, considered responses to national and global concerns, you get thoughtful, considered politicking, which is almost necessarily at a disadvantage to the alternative.

You're right. Incensed action—regardless of the outcome—is pretty much baked into the Republican party, and measured thoughtfulness is baked in the Democrats.

Isn't that dependent on a Congress who's willing to do that, though? I'm pretty convinced Trump could be recorded actually murdering someone at this point, and Congress, and his supporters, would just shrug.

You forgot item 3.5, where the Republican-led Congress, the only institution really capable of DOING something about it, doesn't, and his supporters continue to think he's a genius.

I can't say I've ever cared much about the Stones, but it does seem there's a new model of "rock star as museum piece" that Bowie popularized. Personally, I'll be happy if the Pink Floyd one eventually tours here.

That dude looks like a young Trent Reznor.

Damn straight. As is Wishing.
