Man, that magazine was the best. I wish I still had my copy with Walt Simonson's X-Factor on the cover. I thought I remember it having an article about the Batman movie, and all the various actors that had been considered to play him. Eddie Murphy!

Well, it's right there in the name. "Beta".
I always thought that was either ingenious or stupid. "Wolverine is dead! We were brave enough to kill off this over-used character! Now, all that we have to fill his shoes is an old gruff guy with Adamantium claws and skeleton, healing factor, and mutton chops, who goes by the name of….Logan! Also, his younger,…
Thomas Bryce Dylan does get lots of work.
Was he also responsible for the Phoenix being hatched from a big space egg? I liked a lot of what he did, but that was STUPID.
"Scott!!"
Did they even bring back "old" Jean Grey? I thought she died, and that the young, time-displaced one was the only one available?
That's one of the ones I had! I'm convinced Marvel was genius to include Spider-Man. Transformers was really the first comic series I collected (followed by a subscription to GI Joe), but including him was a perfect gateway to transition to "proper" comics.
I'm sitting here wondering why suddenly there's an article on the GI Joe/Transformers 4-issue Marvel Comics series from like 1986. Of which, I had two issues. Then I realize this is a NEW thing.
Expecting our president to make any kind of sense is SO last year. And the way things go, I practically expect Trumpcare to pass despite all evidence to the contrary.
Wise words. I've considered it. Still may.
Indeed. I think I've just grown tired of "being right" when it still means "losing".
I completely agree with everything you said. I've just given up hoping that somehow it will actually MATTER, in the long run.
I've already seen Facebook posts claiming proof that "Trump was wiretapped". Even Nunes claimed they weren't intentionally spying on the Russians. The problem, I fear, is that anyone who supported him will stick with this narrative. Any action that's taken—and I still doubt any will be—is only proof that "the…
Didn't they just come out that communications "may have" been intercepted by surveillance put in place by the Obama administration late last year? I thought this is being used as proof enough that Trump was right.
YES. I use that example all the time. It's the perfect summation of how suddenly, actually being affected with a problem you might have never imagined yourself having seems to change views on issues like that. Which, on one side: good for you. On the other side: why are some folks so incapable of imagining that…
Four episodes in. Not nearly as bad as reviews make it out to be. I think I'll stick around for the whole thing.
At times I was reminded of Vangelis's Blade Runner stuff. I've been digging the soundtrack.
Yes. I remember the realization that levels 7 and 8 were nowhere as sadistic as 6.
I don't know that I ever had the heart to try in earnest again. I loved that game, but I don't know if any game was as much a war of attrition as that one.
