Agreed with X-24. I had lots of problems with him. Why is he 20 years older than X-23? And as soon as he was introduced, I immediately flashed back to Superman III. Not a good reference point for a movie that wants us to take it seriously.

What are you talking about, I've NEVER seen this happ……oh, wait.

I think I agree with you. It was good overall, and the "R" rating made for a very different tone than the others. But there was stuff in there that I felt was un-earned, there was stuff I thought was goofy, and I got fairly tired of the violence after awhile.

It's also been really revamped in the new game. Not to give anything away, but you're not picking up the boomerang in the first dungeon this time around. Upgrades and new equipment have been found much more naturally this time around. So far it's really quite different from the rest of the series.

I suppose that's true. Back when I was reading, it wasn't yet known that he had natural bone claws. In fact, I'm pretty sure I remember the Marvel Universe comics showing some kind of claw-extension system in his forearms, like a mechanical device that was implanted. Once the bone claws were revealed, though,

The new Zelda game is GLORIOUS. Granted, I usually love any new Zelda, but so far this feels like the most natural evolution of the game they've ever done. I'm really reminded of Red Dead Redemption, only in Hyrule. I'm surprised by the minimalist score and dungeons so far, but we'll see how things progress. I'm

SNAKT!!
Speaking of, I never thought the movies nailed how the claws sounded when he extends/retracts them. I thought it should be more "switch-blade" fast, instead of the slow "drawing a blade" thing they do.

Agreed re: Pierce. I really, really wanted a nod to the story in Uncanny 251. I thought for sure they were going to do the X-crucifix, and have X-23 rescue him instead of Jubilee. It would have fit so easily, and could have been a great visual, especially with the violence cranked to 11 as it was. It's weird to walk

My thoughts of the movie are invariably mixed up with the fact that I saw it literally as a "last date" in an 8-year relationship, and knew so at the time. So there we were, in the theater, watching this movie and knowing full well our relationship was ending. It was…….surreal. And intensely sad.

Tickets are already bought! It's hilarious and odd that I'm spending that much money to see a band I've never been a fan of per se, but I think I'm looking forward to it all the more for that. "Ok, Metallica. Convince me."

It's funny, that diving suit/helmet had me confused that they were starting to do a BioShock thing.

Think I may need to start watching this show in DVR at a time when I can at least try to understand WTF is going on. By 9pm, I'm already getting sleepy, and trying to follow this mind-f*ck is just impossible. I end up reading the reviews just to clarify what it was I was watching.
Also: old man yells at cloud, get

In fairness, I think he handled it gracefully. I didn't get the impression that he was unwilling to give up the award to the guys that won it, and even the best of us might be rightfully annoyed at having the carpet pulled out from under us like that.

Duck in a bag? I'm confused!

In fairness, the LLL director had just made a great, impassioned speech about making more diverse work. It's like someone said, "ok…..give it to Moonlight then!"
In all seriousness, it seemed everyone handled a shitty situation with a lot of grace.

But they're very refreshing!

Nope. I remember articles talking about "what if they made an X-Men movie" from like the late 80's/early 90's. He was ALWAYS Professor X.

Agreed. Maybe their best pop moment.

Have you tried being more angry?

Maybe, but it was simultaneously one of the biggest turn-ON albums, too.
