I have nothing against Adele, and I can understand why Hello has been such a massively popular tune. Still, the Grammys award the the most innocuous stuff every year.

That's exactly what I was wondering when that category came up during the show.

My gf is actually dragging me to see The Time in a month. Well, not DRAGGING—but it's definitely HER show, not mine. I will probably be about as fish-out-of-water as I've ever been for a show.

That was bad. And on top of that, not even being introduced. Just: "Ladies and gentlemen, Lady Gaga!" Insulting all around.

I was at a dance performance in Chicago last year with my gf. Before they took the stage, it was announced that the next dance company's performance was in tribute to Prince. I elbowed my gf and said, "oh man, they're gonna do BATDANCE!" as a joke. The lights go out, and all of a sudden: Batdance. We had a hard

Guess I picked the wrong time to let my MU account lapse. I'll have to check this out whenever I sign back on.

And TROPICAL.

I don't see it. Maybe Nicieza really likes tuning forks?

I feel like my Kirby bona-fides are lacking. I read the first TPB of Kirby's Fourth World, and was just kinda "eh". I totally appreciate what he did in/for the medium of comics, but have trouble getting into his stuff beyond that appreciation.

Yeah. It actually can work out better for the C- and D-listers, since they can actually be developed over 10 hours a season, rather than crammed in a 2-hour movie. I'd be far more excited about an ongoing X-Men TV show than the next movie.

Ditto. I feel like it's only because they're an alternative to mutants, and the legal conflicts surrounding them, that anyone even suggested the Inhumans be adapted. Kirby may be a god, but I can't say I've ever found the Inhumans interesting.

I guess that's true. I'll allow it. I just find it remarkable that we're already at shows based on Legion, The Inhumans, and the Defenders. I'm not sure how much deeper they can dig up comic book characters for TV/movies.

Remember when Heroes was the only superhero show on TV?

Yeah, I missed this too. But then, I was a tad confused for most of it.

It's weird I didn't go there, given how much X-Men I've read over the years. I'm inclined to think it's not Mojo—that would seem a weird character to include without going all Longshot/Mojo-verse. And he seemed too creepy and small to be Mojo, no spider-walker contraption, etc…

Aw. Mojo was great for the annuals.

Yeah, that was my impression.

I was trying to figure out the yellow eyed devil. That was the little creepy blobby guy, wasn't it? My first thought was that it might have referred to Mystique, but I kinda don't think (and I'm hoping not, at any rate). Shadow King seems very possible.

UBIK!

Oh man, was it? Guess I'll need to re-watch.
