I didn't hate it or anything, but it's obvious the episode and series were being voted for based on reputation more than anything specifically great. I'm convinced Better Call Saul should have won every award that went to GoT.

I'm as big a fan of Game of Thrones as just about anyone, but at this point, Better Call Saul is flat out getting robbed.

Well, it IS a wretched hive of scum and villainy…

Didn't McFarlane used to hold Spawn up as a big success as a black superhero? Which, ok, fair enough, but the character was shown either in costume/mask or with a hideous corpse face about 99% of the time.

It's at least not Youngblood. I have a whole stack of Image #1's, but that one might be the most embarrassing. Oof.

I recently sold my run of the first 18 or so issues of Spawn for far less than I would have liked to believe.

I find this whole "variant cover" trend to be fascinating. At what point does the market lose interest in them? Who really cares that they slap a radar cover on a few copies if you can simply Google what the cover looks like for free? I wouldn't defend practices in the 90's, but at least the few variants that existed

This is honestly surprising to me.

Right? I remember when the coolest issues of the X-Men were numbered 100+ or 200+. Does that even happen anymore?

GROOAAAAAAAN.

Interesting! I not only didn't know about the 2005 cartoons, I didn't know they made an attempt at continuity with the 80's ones. You learn something new every day! And knowing, as they say….

Huh! I'm not sure I knew about him appearing in the Transformers cartoon. I did have 2 of the 4 GI Joe/Transformers comics.

…or running for office.

It's funny, I remember getting Go-Bots as well as Transformers. I swear, for a few months there, they were on relatively equal footing in terms of exposure. Then the Transformers just lapped them, and Go-Bots were either completely forgotten, or just became kind of a joke.

Half? I'm betting it was 1/3 at best. They were just rounding up.

So wait, Cobra Commander came back from being turned into an actual snake in the movie?

That one episode is just about the only one I can remember, vividly. (Other than the 5-part movie, which I loved.) Man, that one was CREEPY. Kinda freaked me out as a kid—I remember having a certain feeling of dread when the syndicated rerun would come up.

You've……HEARD of the music industry, yes?

Regarding Batman, though, I feel like there is a trend toward less melodic scores in general. Burton's Batman has an entire musical piece that supports it, whereas Nolan's Batman's score is reduced to basically a two-note motif and some rhythmic electronic stuff. What's the last memorable score from any movie that

I'd be willing to bet they make disc 2 "album only" purchases. Unless you're talking about other means.
