I'm a Marvel guy, not DC, but ugh, these firm-wide reboots/events just drive me crazy. I recently went and purchased the Uncanny X-Men Omnibuses. One of the things I liked about that era was the fact they rarely involved themselves with anything firm-wide or corporate-mandated. You get a single, great author and

Well then, what's the point of being dead? Jeez, this makes me rethink my whole plan now.

Yeah, I listened to it recently, and it's a solid album. It also sounds very, very 1993.

Yeah, I wouldn't think Bey would matter much to teenagers these days. I almost think the idea of caring about specific performers is antiquated. But I don't know anyone that age range to ask.

Truly, he has finally been given the recognition he's deserved. Rest easy, Major Tom! Rest easy!

While I've long since resigned myself to not knowing or caring about anything that happens on the VMA's other than as a possible pop culture trainwreck, I also know that I'm not even close to being MTV's target demographic any more. That ain't working. That's the way you do it!

Good point. Ok, they'll play it twice, but each time only half the song. The first half.

I like this. Though I think "Palooza-Palooza" might be more appropos.

I hope Lindsey Buckingham can take a guitar solo.

They'll be allowed, but only if they play that song twice.

Yes. The jury is out on Tony! Toni! Tone!.

I always thought there should be a festival featuring Duran Duran, Talk Talk, The The, Mr. Mister, and Lisa Lisa.

"I've got great ambient synthesizer sounds. The best. Vangelis, what is he, Greek? Have you seen their economy recently? Sad."

Thing is, Vangelis did produce an expanded BR soundtrack in recent years, with newly-composed material. It was considerably less great than the original stuff. Going without him may not have been the worst idea. Heck, Daft Punk did a pretty good approximation for some of their Tron soundtrack.

Hm.

I'm still wrapping my head around not wanting MORE Pink Floyd after DSotM, much less getting rid of that one. To each their own.

Well, this comic was edited by Matt Johnson.

"Guess I'm not people" would make a good Metallica song title.

Talk about mud flaps, my girl's got 'em!
