Frankly, Voyager did a better job of having a gifted singer sapient hologram. Probably not a fair comparison given the large amount of time we spend with the Doctor, but how often do I get to say 'Voyager did a better job' around these parts?

Paris/Torres. They date, get married and have a child and it all feels pretty natural. I'd say it's the most underrated Trek relationship today.
You know I have a lot of problems with the Prophets and the Pah-wraiths… but having them explicitly be wormhole aliens is something the series always got right.
The problem is, this was one of the handful of Voyager plots that suggested that maybe Seven would be interested in dating Chakotay, which was then dropped on us as the Chakotay/Seven pairing bombshell in the series finale.
Yeah I just never liked Vic or "His Way." I'm less hostile to Odo/Kira than most, but if you were going to have these characters hook up, that was not a good way.
Eh. Wing Commander and Wild Wild West were both worse 1999 genre films.
Yeah I see no fault in this casting.
I'm not as dumb as I am.
And can Casey Wilson be on the new show somehow?
Didn't we get a flash back to his Latvian bath or did he just tell us about that? I forget at this point.
Aw, Bilbo.
I dunno he's kind of a dick. He's the Harry Crane of Archer. If I was going to kill one guy in Isis it'd probably be Cyril.
Their kiss in "Abnormal Psychology" is one of my favourite scenes in television.
IT'S A BAD PICTURE PAM
Yeah but you could kill Cyril!
I haven't read Jemisin's other trilogy, but so far - three quarters through the first book - this is the kind of brisk fantasy I can really get into (in the way, say, the Chalion books were brisk.)
Holy shit that's Alia?
No, I actually saw the original quote. I just like random non-sequiturs.
von Trier does have a less than ideal handle on the media.
Well I wouldn't use tarmac.
