What I liked about season three is it was overstuffed with bad guys. Sure there was Quarles but there was also Dickie, Boyd and Duffy, there was Limehouse… there were guest appearances by Desmond Harrington and Michael Ironside as awesome badasses.

I could swear he was in more than three episodes. It felt like he was in half the season.

Her character from the Hawaii cop show then.

I did get a 'bg' when someone clearly felt I was visibly inadequate to the task of playing, so yeah.

Honestly could we just have a show where Tricia Helfer's character from Killer Women teams up with Kattee Sackhoff's character from Longmire, and you could call it Grab Your Gun And Bring In The Cat.

Masters of Sex was pretty great though.

Goddard does weird, manic and alien very well. I brought him up because I realized Eccleston was specifically reminding me of him.

Have you played Banner Saga: Factions? It's a free, multiplayer version of the game, gives you a good sense of what the gameplay will be like.

I still say he should be a bad guy in season six.

by far one of the most impressive things about this show is its rotating and expanding supporting cast, with bit players getting ever larger roles. Just the thought there will be more Dewey Crowe and more Wynn Duffy makes me grin like an idiot.

No love for my Paul Goddard as the Doctor idea then? Fair dues.

It's mostly a style thing. They're both grimy, gritty, urban sci-fi shows, not above a bit of squalor.

THAT'S IT! BACK TO WINNIPEG!

I was more Amazon gift cards.

I love Rome, It''s easily one of my favourite HBO shows.

Sensible gift. I got one of those too, tbh.

Fair enough. Get anything good over the Holiday season?

Actually I just haven't seen it since.

Oh totally there's kind of a gonzo nuttiness to the spaceships and the space stations.
