Oh she's the one with pig tails?
Oh she's the one with pig tails?
If it was just you, this'd probably be a much better rated show.
It's there because for a while there was clearly a kind of TV Review they wanted to write but didn't fit TV Club. The review for the season six premiere of Mad Men was actually this kind of review; released well before release on the basis of a screener and lacking any spoilers, both of which felt a bit like an…
The Breaking Bad finale was a couple of days before the NuDisqus upgrade.
I think a lot of people were sick of Inspector Spacetime by the end of season three, though, which hardly helped.
It became a serviceable and forgettable sitcom.
I'm sure that'd be posted if anyone has any idea.
Right, but we're left with a situation where we know what Netflix is axing but don't know what they're adding, Maybe they have tons of amazing stuff in the pipeline I have no idea.
Exactly this. Streaming, I've found, has changed my viewing habits substantially. Used to be I just watched whatever I could find on TV or films by directors I liked (rarely branching out into directors I might like - enjoy Kobayashi? Try some Teshigahara!)
I'll consider it then.
Wasn't that Citizen Spock?
Mogwai's soundtrack work for the Returned was bloody uncanny and perhaps the best new TV music I heard all year.
It's the least surreal of Kon's movies but it's also wonderful.
Also how dare we criticize those movies when we have proven unable to get Hollywood to finance our blockbusters?
Well the thing is we have no idea what they're adding, or anyway we never have a complete picture. Netflix is cagey about this stuff.
Hey at least you have TNG. Netflix UK has only the first four seasons of TNG, aka the seasons that look better if you watch the HD broadcasts on Syfy UK.
And Farscape is back on…
Not Tokyo Gore Police! I was saving that for a decidedly unsombre occassion.
Netflix UK's anime selection is pretty embarrasing. It's like five titles (and it's less than what it was a couple of months ago.) Netflix has an exclusive deal to broadcast a show from 2014's summer, though, so there's that.
It doesn't explain why their future titles are as opaque. I've tried to find ways to see what Netflix will be adding, and I was able to determine around three titles for 2013 a couple of months back and that was about it.
