One of the reasons I hated one of my all time favourite shows Twin Peaks. I didn't watch it during it's original airing (I was but a young lad in the early 90's), but bought the Gold Box set and remember giving one of those "AW BULLSHIT!" yells at the TV screen when the final episode finished.

I thought they were going somewhere like he had never actually graduated highschool, so his refusal to put on his nametag was because his nametag wasn't there. Then i'm trying to think what name could be so terrible that Mac wouldn't want to use it. Then I laughed for a couple minutes straight.

That episode of QT had some of Stockwell's best acting of the series IMO, outside of the stuff involving his first wife.
