Are you trying to parody something here? Calling Kris's approach (which entails posing skeptical questions that I find quite reasonable) "ad hominem" is deeply ironic when your response answered zero of those questions and simply hurled criticism at various assumed aspects of Kris's background and personhood.

That's way too small to be a moon. Or did you mean a small moon? Yeah, that's probably what it is.

It's a fair point, but this is another of increasingly common cases where—personally—I wish they wouldn't invest in being honest and real to the detriment of being compelling, incisive and/or entertaining.

Isn't the comedian's job to make people laugh, not to faithfully recount the profound and boring truth of their private selves on stage?

I'm still a fan of Bojack, but I've been pondering why this season has started to feel stale despite lots of story-telling ingenuity going on. And I think it's this:

I appreciate high-concept TV where they really go for something… even though they usually fail. Though the "can't speak" concept has certainly been done before, this was a fairly original endeavor. So, kudos there.

I'm with you, nardog.

That is exactly the point, though.

Ha, nice Freudian slip on my part.

I haven't paid enough attention to know whether this has been explicitly addressed in the script, but I'd say:

I see what you're saying, but agree with the reviewer. The onscreen chemistry between Mindy and Jody is simply not there (while with Danny it's intense), and it would be a great spin on Mindy's obsession with the grand romantic gestures of rom-coms to have this one happen to her in real life and have her response be,

OK, could someone please explain in any detail what's going on with this mysterious "announcement" (that I can't find anywhere) about changes to avclub coverage?

It's kind of weird, right? I just spent several minutes scouring the avclub front page, the tvclub front page, the twitter account and mentions, and I can't find anything about this "announcement" that various reviewers here "are sure [we've] seen by now". WTF?

He could put a revolutionary new spin on "It's not a tumor!"

No mention of the "loose meat sandwich" that defined a Good Wife episode? Ruth would be disappointed. Alicia wouldn't. Alicia wouldn't give a fuck.

I'm pretty sure that adds to the humor, the randomness of Tig being this huge fan of someone most in the audience have never heard of. I just don't find the overall structure successful. I can see how if you were actually friends with Tig it would be hilarious picturing all of those encounters, so maybe that's

OK yes, I checked out Stool Movement on Conan and that got me eventually. Very good.

I did too. But there she was only playing a complete straight-man character. Pun most definitely not intended.

Argh, this unfortunately fits in with my whole notion of Tig just being super disagreeable. I get that no one's required to be gracious, but the greatest artists and performers are the ones who manage to make a point and build bridges. The comment from Schumer referenced in that piece is a textbook example of
